Power and Control

This series of sketches developed as a short series about domestic violence. The act, role, and scale of butchery in western culture is used as a metaphor to mirror the lack of systemic change and acceptance about regular abuse in a familial setting. Violence can be used as a tool to control other family members by taking away their power and human value.
